Leads a crew of workers on a project from start to finish to maintain a high level of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Reports directly to the Job Superintendent.
Construct or remodel buildings/projects using a variety of tools and equipment such as power equipment, measuring devices, power tools.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install or construct components of overall project.
Operate various personnel or heavy lifts to accomplish different job assignments.
Construct project components using specifications given and necessary tools.
Provide general direction and guidance to new crew members.
Other responsibilities as necessary.
Must be experienced, self-motivated, and well disciplined.
Ability to understand the project objectives and lead team to successfully complete.
Willing to travel and sometimes work off hours to accommodate customer requirements as necessary.
High School Diploma/GED or technical degree preferred.
Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Work and maneuver in restricted/challenging environments
Outside and Interior work environment.
Summary: Perform construction tasks and physical labor on construction sites at the direction of the Job Superintendent and Job Forman. Typical Duties: Prepare job site for construction including digging footings, assembling forms/scaffolding, and other temporary structures. Clean jobs site up rubble and debris using tools and machinery as needed. Load, unload, identify, and distribute building materials per project plans and specifications. Must have of general knowledge of construction and repair methods. Responsible for proper utilization and care of tools, materials, and equipment used in building construction. Comprehensive knowledge of traditional building materials, practices, and techniques Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Other responsibilities as necessary Qualifications: Must be self-motivated, and well disciplined. Shows up to Jobsite on time and ready to work. Effective communication skills. Willing to travel and sometimes work off hours to accommodate customer requirements as necessary. High School Diploma/GED or technical degree preferred.
